Villa Banyan is located in the north of Mauritius, on the white sandy shores of the peaceful fishing village of Grand Gaube. It is also a 15 minute drive away from the bustling nightlife of Grand Bay, making it an ideal base for your holiday. This contemporary apartment complex provides excellent facilities and services to ensure that you experience a relaxing holiday.

Villa Banyan offers 6 apartments that can accommodate up to 6 adults each. Every apartment provides 3 bedrooms on the first floor with a master bedroom with a balcony and two further bedrooms with twin beds. The ground floor features a spacious living room with flat-screen TV, a modern kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and toaster, a bathroom with shower, and free WiFi.

All accommodation is equipped for self-catering but for a fee guests can enjoy the services of a personal chef. A grand outdoor fresh-water, 15 metre swimming pool overlooks the sea, shaded by the 100-year-old Banyan tree. Guests can also enjoy a BBQ in the rear garden. Laundry and concierge services and airport transfers are also available.

Villa Banyan’s apartments overlook several northern islets beyond the reef such as Coin de Mire, l’Ile aux Serpents, l’Ile Ronde and l’Ile Plate. Several other beautiful beaches are just a short drive away including Grand Bay, Cap Malheureux, Bain Boeuf, Pereybere, Trou aux Biches and Merville. For shopping, water sports, restaurants, nightlife and more, Grand Bay is just 15 minutes’ drive away. The Pamplemousses Botanical Garden is a must visit local site about 25 minutes’ drive away, and the capital Port Louis with its shopping and cultural attractions is just 30 minutes’ drive from Grand Gaube. The hosts can also arrange a range of activities including scuba diving, fishing in the lagoon and deep sea fishing and boat trips to the northern islands.
